In August of this year, Atlas Logistics® welcomed a new company into the Atlas® family with the acquisition of Progressive Transportation, Inc., a premier provider of over-the-road pad-wrap transportation based in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Founded in 1995, Progressive Transportation, Inc. has built lasting relationships with its customer base, including two of its largest clients that have worked with the company for over two decades. The executive management team has over 30 years of experience in the transportation field and over 25 years in the pad-wrap market. By providing up-todate assets, including a fleet of late-model tractors, and fostering an
environment of openness and transparency between all employees and contractors, Progressive Transportation has developed an experienced and loyal driver base. The company has positioned itself as a valued service provider through its commitment to service, safety, and customer support.

“The acquisition of Progressive Transportation accelerates the growth of padded-van solutions within Atlas Logistics’ service offerings and delivers additional capacity to our network of agents across the company,” said Phil Wahl, President and COO of Atlas Logistics. “This acquisition was founded upon the principle of diversification,
laying a foundation for organizational advancement as guided by the aggressive goals outlined in Atlas World Group’s Strategic Roadmap, Vision 2025. It is with great pride and excitement that we welcome Progressive Transportation to the Atlas family.”

“The robust logistics offerings, brand power, and strong industry reputation of Atlas® World Group is unparalleled and gives us vast potential for growth,” said Craig Olsen, President of Progressive Transportation. “We are thrilled to be aligned with the highest-quality logistics provider, and our employees and customers will undeniably feel the benefits.”
