Atlas® knows that drivers are the backbone of our industry. They represent our company when interacting with customers, driving down the road, or handling every item with care. This is why, every year, Atlas and our network of Agents come together to celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of the hardworking men and women in the moving industry, through an event called BRAVO (Boosting Recognition of Atlas Van Operators).
It is our honor to spotlight three of our 2022 Best of the Best Professional Van Operator (PVO) Contest Winners:

LIZBETH "LIZ" CELESTINO - Powell Relocation Group (1656)
Liz Celestino was born into a moving family and has been on the trucks with her dad and brother since she was in diapers! As soon as she learned how to drive, she knew this would be the path she would want to be on. Her colleagues describe her as a dedicated, driven, and bubbly individual who is always smiling. When asked about Liz and her accomplishments, Powell Relocation said, “Without high-quality drivers like Liz, we would not be able to grow and continue to understand each customer's needs and exceed their expectations.” Liz’s Best of the Best Award was celebrated company-wide via newsletters and company-sponsored lunches, and she was invited to attend the 2022 Atlas Convention in Marco Island.

MALACHY DOWD - Ace World-Wide Moving & Storage Company (0032)
Malachy (Mack) Dowd has been in the moving industry since 1991 and with Ace World-Wide since 2000. His colleagues describe him as a consistent, quality-focused driver who pays attention to detail and is not afraid to ask questions when needed. He is business-oriented, enthusiastic, and driven, all great qualities for someone who’s been in this industry for 32 years! And like many drivers in the Atlas family, Mack remains a humble operator despite his Best of the Best win, telling his dispatcher, Angie Anderson, “Thanks a lot, I am just a steering wheel holder. It's you that deserves the congratulations for keeping the wagon loaded and the operation so streamlined."

JESSE NAHORNIAK - AMJ Campbell (8841)
Colleagues describe Jesse as the ultimate professional who takes great pride in his profession and the ability to do his job correctly. This is not just a job for Jesse; it is his career, and he has been doing it for many years. Looking after his customers and their possessions comes first for this PVO. When asked about Jesse, AMJ Campbell told us, “Having a driver like Jesse is everything to our organization. He is constantly
looking after the company as well as our customers. We would not be successful if it were not for guys like him. Our sales staff and corporate reps are always at ease when Jesse is on the job.” Jesse’s win was recognized company-wide, and he was awarded a $1,000 check!
