And The Winners Are...

The moving business may have evolved over time, but one thing remains unchanged: The drivers have always been our best ambassadors. They represent the Atlas® family when driving on the road, interacting with customers, or handling every item with care. This is why, every year, Atlas and our network of Agents come together to recognize the accomplishments of the hardworking men and women in the moving industry, through an event called BRAVO (Boosting Recognition of Atlas Van Operators).

It is our honor to spotlight the 2023 Best of the Best Professional Van Operator (PVO) Contest Winners:

U.S. GROUP 1
Taylor Havran
Ace World Wide of Iowa, Inc. (1883)

Taylor started as a helper in 2012 and began driving locally in 2014, then transitioned to the hauling fleet in 2016. His rating is 5.0 and he has a low claim ratio and safety points. Taylor—or “Cowboy” as he is known by his Ace World Wide family—manages a farm when home from the road and enjoys hunting and fishing. He has a vast network of highly qualified laborers nationwide and is consistently exceeding customers’ expectations.

U.S. GROUP 2
James “Tim” Rowan
Imlach Group (1130)

James “Tim” Rowan is an Army vet, husband, father to five children, and driver of 30+ years. Tim got his start in HHG working summers with his father (also a PVO), who encouraged Tim to join the industry, saying he would make a “darn good mover” because of how much Tim cares. His favorite part of the job is the sense of accomplishment he gains when he leaves a happy customer in their new home. Tim coaches his stepdaughter in softball and travels with his wife to different U.S. state parks in his spare time.

CANADA
Gary Chahal

King’s Transfer Van Lines (8136)

Gary immigrated to Canada from India and although he has only been with Atlas® for less than a year, he has become one of the most recognizable names on the road. His team describes him as very hardworking, determined, and goal oriented. We are happy and proud to welcome him into the Atlas family and we would like to congratulate him on his win!
