Atlas® World Group (AWG) hosted its annual Convention on November 1-3, 2023, in Aventura, Florida. Attendees enjoyed three days filled with networking events, informative learning sessions, and inspirational exhibits featuring innovative products and services from Atlas’ preferred suppliers. Convention participants were also invited to take part in the traditional Atlas® fundraising efforts, which allow AWG members to show their support toward a noble cause.
In 2023, Atlas and Convention attendees raised more than $31,000 for the Southeast Florida Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, a worldwide voluntary health organization focused on Alzheimer's
research and care. Representing the Alzheimer’s Association, Alex Lewy, Director of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Miami, spoke about his family’s experience with this condition and encouraged Convention attendees to support research efforts by making a monetary contribution or helping spread awareness.
Fundraising efforts increased considerably on Friday night, when a vintage cutout of an Atlas truck was auctioned, with all proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Association. We would like to thank all our Convention attendees for supporting this great cause and for understanding the need for corporate responsibility and joined efforts.
