POWELL MOVING CONTINUES TO SUPPORT WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA
Wreaths Across America is a wonderful event taking place annually, with a focus on honoring veterans and remembering the fallen. On December 16, National Wreaths Across America Day took place. Over 2 million wreaths were placed across local, national, and military cemeteries as well as veterans memorials and historic sites.
Powell Relocation Group (1657) in Grand Rapids, Michigan, has been a big supporter of this event for years, donating time and physical resources, and 2023 was no exception. In December of last year, Dave Shelton, a Professional Van Operator for Powell Moving, assisted in the Wreaths Across America program. He picked up the wreaths in Maine and delivered them around Michigan during the week of December 16. “We are extremely proud of Dave for volunteering his time and effort to support our veterans. We were happy to support him in any way possible so he could take part in this amazing event,” said Sean Wing, Powell Relocation Group.
