I noticed the Atlas slogan on the moving van that said “World-Class Moving.” To be the best in the world is a big order to fill and most companies are not up to the task. The companies that are successful are those that have world-class people working for them. Your driver, Tom, and his wife, Penny, certainly fit into the worldclass category. They did an excellent job for us and went way above the call of duty to insure that our move went well. They worked tirelessly to meet a deadline imposed by a house closing and they delivered on every promise they made. As all families have “priceless” personal items, we were no exception and Tom took a personal interest in ours and paid special attention. Needless to say, everything arrived safely. Tom is a true professional who is dedicated to his job and very much an ambassador for Atlas.

We moved from Florida to NC recently. This was the first time we hired a moving company and we were anxious based on stories we heard over the years. We got 3 estimates and Coastal was not the cheapest but based on the honest thorough information shared by Richard (sales guy) we decided to go with them. At both ends the guys were professional, efficient, pleasant and respectful of our home and belonging. The leads were very communicative and followed the inventory process as described to us. It did take 10 days to get our belongings but it was within the date parameter on our contract. I would recommend this company if you need to hire a moving company.

I would give another 5 stars if they were available. Moving is a nightmare whether it's short or long distance in the best of times. But when you're in your 70's caring for your 80 year old husband who is frail weak and failing quickly and you're moving long distance to be with your family and you're doing everything yourself it's the WORST! I called Atlas because of a flyer I received in the mail. A gentleman named Tom came to give me an estimate and his demeanor and personality put me at ease and I liked him instantly. I felt I had made the right decision. I had already done the majority of packing up my 3 bedroom home so there were just some larger items for them to handle. I had been finishing up 2 days before they were suppose to come to pack the truck and had hurt my back, I was not looking forward to another day even if they were doing all the work. I was in pain and wanted it to be over. Then a four man team Mike, Josh, James, and Leo showed up. Mike seemed to be in charge and immediately asked me if I was okay. I told him no and he said to just relax and we've got this. He and the group were so friendly and respectful. They played music sang laughed lidded around I soon forgot about my back and enjoyed their company. Atlas is a first class operation and I whole heartily recommend them for your moving needs. They are holding my possessions in storage till we find a home in our new location. I only wish my new friends Mike, Josh, James and Leo would be there to help unload. Thank you all for making this experience a memorable one.
