Thank you for believing in the vision of the Tri-State Glitter Inc. dance team and supporting our Love for Flint Water Drive. This community service project was not possible without your company agreeing to come on board as a sponsor and transporting the donated water to Flint, MI at no cost to our organization. You have a great team of staff members and it was an honor to work with Nick and Daniel on this project. I am also thankful that Claudia was able to assist us in making contact with each other. Because of your generosity, we were able to collect $1140.84 in monetary donations and collected several cases and bottles of water throughout the day of the drive. As promised, all monies were used to purchase water. At the close of the drive, there were 16, 365 bottles of water loaded on the tractor trailer for residents in Flint, MI. Your generosity not only helped the residents of Flint, MI, it also left a lasting impression with the dance team board members, dancers and parents. This community service project taught the young ladies of Tri-State Glitter, Inc. many lessons including how valuable they can be when they actively pull together working work with the community for a worthy cause. It also allowed them to be appreciative of the small things that we sometimes seem to take for granted. I pray that this the beginning of many lifelong lessons that WE can teach the dancers and families of our organization. I relocated through my employer from IN to MI, this was a full service move where the moving company packed all of our belongings and delivered them to our destination. On the first day of our moving window Mike, the driver from Atlas Van lines showed up promptly at 8AM and surveyed all our belongings and marked up what needs to be packed. Shortly after two people who Atlas contracts with showed up and immediately started working. Everything was safely packed up and these guys worked throughout the day and marked all boxes with what was being packed in them. They did not even take a lunch break so I offered to get them lunch from whatever place they liked. By 5PM 80% of our stuff was in boxes packed up. The next day they showed up at 8am again to finish packing up rest of our belongings and started loading the moving van by 11am. We offered lunch again because they did not plan to take a lunch break, and they graciously accepted. By 4pm they were done loading our belongings and cleared our home of all the protective blankets they laid out on our hardwood floors and carpets. The delivery was promised 2 days after and again Mike showed up at 8am prompt with 2 other contractors. They were really professional and unloaded our belongings carefully in our apartment. We also had some items delivered to a storage unit and they wrapped up everything in 4 hours. Nothing was damaged that we noticed and we are extremely satisfied with Mike and his crew, they made our move extremely easy and seamless.
