February 28, 2018 / Tips and tricks
When you move with an experienced, efficient company like Atlas, you leave the hard work to the moving professionals. However, there are certain items movers can't bring in their trucks. Let's look at some of the most common non-allowables.
Some items are banned from transport on moving trucks, like aerosol spray cans, batteries, charcoal, cleaning solvents, matches, motor oil, paint thinner, pool chemicals and a handful of others. Our website offers a full list.
Other belongings, like car titles, cash, insurance policies, jewelry, medicine, and professional files can be moved by our professionals. However, we recommend carrying these personal items with you during a move, due to the high sentimental or financial value they hold.
To learn more about what's allowed on our trucks and to set up your move, get in touch with Atlas today.
