Atlas World Group Promotes Jason Kempf to Corporate Controller

EVANSVILLE, IND. (May 15, 2017) – Atlas World Group, Inc., the parent company of Atlas Van Lines, one of the nation’s leading moving companies, announces today that Jason Kempf has been promoted to corporate controller. Kempf joined Atlas in 2004 as the claims controller.
Kempf’s activities include managing the operations of the accounting department, compiling and issuing accurate financial statements, assisting in the creation of the annual report, measuring financial and operational performance, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and accounting standards as well as maintaining a system of accounting policies, procedures and controls. In all his responsibilities, Kempf will focus on Atlas’ mission to help individuals go new places with expertise in moving and logistics, and a dedication to unrivaled problem solving.

Kempf brings 18 years of experience to his newest role as corporate controller at Atlas World Group. As a CPA, he has been integral in managing upgrades to Atlas’ financial processes and serves as the subject matter expert for generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Prior to working at Atlas, Kempf was an assistant controller and regional accounting manager in the transportation industry for six years.

A native of Evansville, Indiana, Jason attended the University of Southern Indiana where he earned his bachelor's degree in accounting.
