ATLAS INTERNATIONAL PRIVACY STATEMENT

Atlas World Group International, Inc. is committed to the security and the privacy of our clients and protecting the personal information of our customers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard users’ information, as well as how individuals may access or correct their information.

Atlas World Group International, Inc. is a global relocation and logistics service provider that is a wholly owned subsidiary of Atlas World Group, Inc., and a sister corporation of Atlas Van Lines, Inc. We maintain this website to familiarize you with our services and to allow you to request additional information.  We are committed to safeguarding the data of our customers and prospective customers.

This policy describes how we protect your privacy in our handling of personal information we obtain from you via this website or while providing relocation services.

Data Privacy Framework:

Atlas World Group International, Inc. complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce.  Atlas World Group International, Inc. has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF.  Atlas World Group International, Inc. has also certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF.  If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern.  To learn more about the Data Privacy Framework (DPF) program, and to view our certification, please visit https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/.

Atlas World Group International, Inc. is responsible for the processing of personal data it receives under the applicable DPF Principles, and may transfer personal data to third parties who act as agents on its behalf.  Atlas World Group International, Inc. complies with the applicable DPF Principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU/EEA, UK, and Switzerland, including the onward transfer liability provisions.

With respect to personal data received or transferred pursuant to the EU-U.S. DPF, UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and Swiss-U.S. DPF, Atlas World Group International, Inc. is subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and/or U.S. Department of Transportation.

Atlas World Group International, Inc. will offer EU/EEA, UK, and Swiss individuals whose personal information has been transferred to us the opportunity to choose whether the personal information it has received is to be used for a purpose other than the purpose for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the individual. Information We Collect

We collect, use, and share information needed to conduct our business of providing moving and storage services to our customers.

The types of information we may collect depends on the service provided, but may include information obtained from you, your employer, or elsewhere including:

  • Information you provide to us, such as your shipper's address, telephone number, email address, zip code, country (all at origin and destination), SSN, and passport number
  • Information about an impending relocation may be collected via a site survey or over the telephone by one of our move coordinators, or from a relocation company or corporate relocation department, or directly from the shipper.
  • Information may also be obtained from a customer's transactions or experiences with us; such as your payment history and claims records.

We also collect personal information with your consent via this website and/or secure mail/email communication. This information may include your name, mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address, or other information about your needs as a customer that identifies you personally. This site does not require credit information or credit card numbers.  

We may also receive personal information from suppliers who provide services to you or your dependents. The types of personal information we receive from third parties may include the address where services provided and contact phone number, which are provided to verify location of services and appropriate contact data.

All such information will be treated in accordance with this privacy policy.

We may use this information to:

  • Verify vendor billing accuracy
  • Verify accuracy of contact data
