SOLUTIONS FOR THE GLOBAL MOBILITY INDUSTRY

Making our industry better.

As a relocation professional, you know our industry faces challenges. As a moving company, we perceive opportunities to answer these challenges. We focus considerable energy and resources toward achieving lasting office relocation solutions in three key areas.

PRICING

We price our services to be competitive, fair, and transparent. The Atlas Tariff (ATVL 1000TR) is a detailed schedule of our services and rates. Read more about our tariff information here. We use our tariff as the basis for customized service agreements. These contracts allow our clients to lock in their company’s move volume at a specified price over an extended period (typically two years) of time. This ensures quality service that our clients expect and helps our relocation company better answer with investments in people and equipment. Read more about our rates information here.

CAPACITY

Our industry faces a growing challenge. The dwindling number of experienced van operators puts pressure on the traditional door-to-door, long-distance service model. Today’s workforce is generally less inclined to sacrifice time away from home and family. The cyclical nature of moving, with volume surging during the summer, compounds the challenge. Atlas is answering with pricing incentives to offset seasonal swells.

In order to combat this challenge, Atlas is vigorously recruiting those with a calling to become Professional Van Operators. We are also bringing innovation to stretch capacity, such as our solution for small moves.

REGULATIONS

The laws regulating the moving industry have big impacts on productivity and safety. However, they do not always square with our view of what is needed. For example, we see proposed changes to hours-of-service rules as sub-optimal. Likewise, some state laws on emissions impose an unjust economic hardship. Via our memberships in the American Trucking Associations (ATA) Moving and Storage Conference and state industry associations, we advocate for legislation that better serves business and consumers.
