EVANSVILLE, Ind. (April 16, 2012) — Atlas Van Lines agencies will host events from April 16-20 celebrating its annual driver appreciation week, BRAVO (Boosting Recognition of Atlas Van Operators). As one of the nation's leading moving companies, Atlas' week-long affair recognizes the hard-working drivers who travel across North America and interact with clients on a daily basis.

"We host BRAVO Week to really hone in on the great service and work our professional van operators provide Atlas Van Lines year-round," said Glen Dunkerson, Chairman and CEO at Atlas World Group. "Atlas van operators are dedicated to creating the best moving experience for our customers, and we are so proud to have them as a part of our Atlas Van Lines family."

In addition to BRAVO activities ranging from catered lunches to free truck washes, Atlas releases its yearly King of the Road Survey results, which reveal insights from professional van operators (PVOs) about life on the road, including their favorite restaurants, hotel chains, coffee and other on-the-road necessities. To view a fun infographic summarizing the survey results visit "Road Trip" at http://www.atlasvanlines.com/infographics/road-trip-tips. Drivers from other carriers are also welcome to attend BRAVO events, as Atlas agents are always open to discussing career opportunities and the advantages of joining the Atlas family.

More than 150 Atlas agencies in U.S. and Canada are signed up to participate in 2012. Some agency events include free weight tickets, outdoor barbeques, daily breakfasts and raffle drawings. Baltimore-based agent Advance Relocation Systems is even hosting a circus-themed event complete with games, prizes and peanuts. Atlas Van Lines launched its first driver appreciation event in 1988, making this the 25th year. The event, which used to be held on one day, has since expanded to a week-long demonstration of appreciation to these heroes of the highways. The event acknowledges more than 3,000 drivers who serve Atlas' extensive network of consumer and corporate customers.

Ranked among the best moving companies, Atlas Van Lines shares resources with its agent family and utilizes agency representatives to meet with customers, prepare estimates and provide advice.
