SEATTLE, Wash. — In a move that will expand Atlas World Group's presence in the United Kingdom, Atlas International sold its Southampton operation, Vanpac International Ltd., to Fox Group (Moving & Storage) Limited, which will become Atlas' exclusive agent in the UK. The sale creates a strategic partnership that will enable Atlas and Fox to better serve customers in this vital European marketplace.

"This is an important step in expanding Atlas' worldwide reach," said Jack Griffin, president & COO of AWG International (AWGI), parent company to Atlas International. "The sale of our operation in England and the agency agreement with Fox positions us to grow and improve overall service to our customers outside the U.S."

As an exclusive service representative for Atlas, Fox will continue to provide both domestic and international household relocations, storage and other logistics services.

"We are extremely excited about our new partnership with Atlas International," said Paul Fox, managing director of Fox. "The 38-year history and established reputation of Fox Moving and Storage, combined with Atlas' global brand equity, position both companies to provide the relocation and logistics solutions our customers have come to expect."
