EVANSVILLE, Ind. — The American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA) has designated Atlas Van Lines and its national agent network as ProMovers, the industry standard for professional service and ethical operations in the relocation industry.
AMSA launched the ProMover program January 1 as a way to help consumers identify quality moving companies while encouraging responsible business practices in the industry. To qualify, a company's quality standards must meet AMSA's guidelines, and it must agree to follow AMSA's Code of Ethics, as well as all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and Surface Transportation Board consumer regulations.
"This designation recognizes what Atlas has always practiced, and that's to make sure our customers don't have to worry about the security of their belongings or any unexpected charges," said Greg Hoover, Atlas World Group president & COO. "The ProMover designation is another assurance for our customers, no matter where they're moving or what they're moving."
