Atlas Van Lines hires industry expert to manage government business

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Bob Ewing has joined Atlas Van Lines as Senior Director of Government Business, where he will manage military and government contracts for the household goods relocation company.

Ewing brings more than 28 years of experience in the relocation industry and in government and military work. Prior to joining Atlas, Ewing served as a domestic military director for Bekins Van Lines. He has also worked for North American Van Lines, Allied Van Lines, and SIRVA.

A U.S. Air Force veteran, Ewing has been a member of the American Moving and Storage Association's Military Advisory Panel for many years.

Ewing is a graduate of Purdue University where he received a bachelor's in aeronautical engineering and a master's in industrial administration.

In his new role, Ewing will focus his skills on managing and growing Atlas' military and government business and increasing the company's revenue in these sectors.
