EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Atlas World Group has announced Peter Wayman will join its executive management team as chief commercial officer, where he will lead strategic sales efforts, particularly in corporate accounts, government and military.
An award-winning relocation executive, Wayman has held a number of high-profile positions within the industry during his more than 30-year career. Most recently he was executive vice president at Cartus, where he led the global strategic account management team. He has also served as CEO of CitiCapital Relocation and president of Prudential Relocation Southeast.
For his outstanding service to the relocation industry, Wayman was awarded a lifetime achievement award from Worldwide ERC (ERC) with his induction into its Hall of Leaders in 2006. Wayman is also a member of the ERC Foundation's board. Wayman has extensive experience with procurement professionals and led ERC's Procurement Taskforce initiative as its founding co-chair for two years, receiving their President's Award.
In addition to extensive strategic account sales, Wayman's background includes work in attaining General Service Administration (GSA) Schedules certification and work with military relocation programs. His initial responsibilities at Atlas will include direct corporate sales, GSA sales and Schedules qualification and military sales. Throughout his career, Wayman has provided relocation services to virtually every branch of the US Federal government, Department of Defense and uniformed services. Wayman was also responsible for opening the Canadian corporate and government markets for Prudential.

Wayman is a graduate of Cornell University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He is a Senior Certified Relocation Professional, a Global Mobility Specialist, and a Certified Public Accountant.
