Atlas World Group promotes Phil Wahl to senior director of Avail Resource Management

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Atlas World Group, Inc. has promoted Phil Wahl, a 20-year employee of the company, to senior director of Avail Resource Management, an Atlas subsidiary based in Evansville, Ind. Wahl will take over the administrative role while continuing his responsibilities as senior director of national accounts for Atlas Van Lines.

The majority of Wahl's career at Atlas has been in the company's Specialized Transportation Group, and his role more recently expanded to include various direct sales responsibilities and projects.

"Phil brings a broad background in staff and process management to his new role, as well as both sales and operational experience," said Greg Hoover, president and chief operating officer of Atlas World Group. "He's had a successful track record at Atlas, and we're confident he'll have the same impact on Avail."

Wahl graduated from Wabash Valley Community College in Mt. Carmel, Ill., with an associate's degree and has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, in Edwardsville, Ill.
