Atlas Van Lines names Victor Baillargeon director of Internet sales and marketing

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Atlas Van Lines has named Victor Baillargeon director of Internet sales and marketing for the Evansville, Ind.-based company. Baillargeon has nearly 20 years of management experience in information technology, knowledge management and business operations.

The Evansville, Ind., resident will oversee the company's Web site and intranet systems, which includes maintaining the day-to-day operation of the sites as well as growing the company's Web presence.

"Victor has been charged with taking Atlas into the next generation of Internet usage by exploiting the use of the Web in sales and marketing. His combined knowledge of technology and online business strategies make him an ideal candidate to successfully accomplish this mission," said Greg Hoover, president and COO of Atlas Van Lines.

Baillargeon, a native of Newmarket, N.H., is on the board of directors of the American Red Cross of Southwest Indiana and is a former trustee for the Evansville Museum of Arts, History and Science. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire and a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Colorado State University.
