PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — Wood Bros. Moving & Storage, an Atlas Van Lines agent located in Portsmouth, N.H., has announced a change in ownership. The agency was purchased by Mark Harrington, a 15-year veteran in international forwarding. Wood Bros. will retain its name under its new owner.
Harrington purchased Wood Bros. from Bill and Ed Walsh on Oct. 17.
"Customers in New Hampshire have come to expect nothing but the best from Wood Bros.," said Glen Dunkerson, president and chief operating officer of Atlas Van Lines. "That tradition will continue with its new owner."
Wood Bros. Moving & Storage is a full-service relocation company with a 30,000-square-foot warehouse. The agency provides packing, protected storage, and local, long-distance and international transportation services.
"It's an honor to be part of this great company," said Harrington. "I'm excited to build on Wood Bros.' reputation for high quality. I also plan to work toward increasing revenue and storage space, controlling costs and growing our customer base in local and long-distance moves."
