EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Atlas Van Lines has awarded its Sales Progress Award to the four Atlas agents whose sales growth increased most dramatically this year. For this award, Atlas recognizes one agent in each of four sales categories who experienced the greatest percentage of sales growth over the previous convention year, which runs from July 1 through June 30. The awards will be presented at the 60th annual Atlas Convention, held Nov. 7-10 in Orlando, Fla.

"A strong sales-growth year is indicative of innovation and quality," said Glen Dunkerson, president and chief operating officer of Atlas Van Lines. "These agents went above and beyond because they were able to present Atlas' value proposition in new ways. They also back up that promise with attention to quality, high customer service and performance excellence."

The agents recognized in each category, based on the greatest percentage of sales growth compared to the previous convention year, are:
Category I – Sea Island Bonded Storage, Inc., Beaufort, S.C. – 119 percent
Category II – Gellings Moving & Storage, Inc., Idaho Falls, Idaho – 100 percent
Category III – American Moving & Storage, Inc., Cudahy, Wisc. – 617 percent
Category IV – Thompson Moving & Storage, Inc., Clarksville, Tenn. – 158 percent
