EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Atlas Van Lines has hired Mike Bengert as director of accounts receivable. Serving on the Atlas team, Bengert will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable staff and its work, which involves the cash application of receipts and resolution of discrepancies.
Bengert brings more than 10 years of experience in accounts receivable management. Prior to joining Atlas, Bengert worked as director of student accounts for the University of Evansville. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and the president of the South Gibson School Board in Fort Branch, Ind.
"Mike's extensive knowledge and previous experience will be beneficial in maximizing the efficiencies in our accounts receivable processes," said Glen Dunkerson, president and chief operating officer of Atlas Van Lines.
A native of Haubstadt, Ind., Bengert holds bachelor's degrees in accounting and computer science from Indiana State University.
