EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Monica Weiss, a 17-year Atlas Van Lines employee, is the new vice president of finance at Atlas Van Lines' Evansville headquarters. The move is part of a realignment of the financial department. In her new role, Weiss will be responsible for the company's accounting and financial matters.
"Restructuring our financial department is part of a long-range plan to continue gaining efficiencies in our administrative areas," said Glen Dunkerson, president and chief operating officer of Atlas Van Lines. "Monica's extensive accounting background made her a perfect fit for this position."
Weiss, who was vice president of financial services for nearly five years, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Indiana CPA Society and the Institute Management Accountants. She holds a CPA and a CMA.
A Haubstadt, Ind., native, Weiss has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Indiana State University and a master's degree in business administration from University of Southern Indiana.
