EVANSVILLE, Ind. — John Taylor has been promoted to vice president of customer service for Atlas Van Lines. Taylor, the former vice president of Atlas' Relocation Services Group (RSG) operations, has worked at Atlas since 1979.

"John's previous position in the operations area translates very well to customer service because he knows the agency family and he knows our customer base," said Glen Dunkerson, president and chief operating officer of Atlas Van Lines. "We will leverage that experience as we continue to develop our customer-focused services."

Taylor attended Indiana State University at Evansville (now the University of Southern Indiana) and Indiana University. He's also a member of the Newburgh Barbeque Coalition, a cooking team that prepares meals for charitable organizations to sell to the general public.
