EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Atlas Van Lines has tapped a 12-year company veteran to help improve efficiencies and integrate new technologies in its sales development team. Ryan McConnell has been promoted to senior director of sales development for the Evansville-based company.

McConnell will oversee various divisions within the sales development team, including contract administration, sales support and market research. Part of his new role will involve streamlining responsibilities in various departments and bringing new technology to Atlas and its subsidiaries.

"Ryan is a valuable member of the Atlas team and has served as a liaison between the sales and marketing teams," said Glen Dunkerson, president and chief operating officer of Atlas Van Lines. "His new position will build on that role."
