EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Atlas Van Lines has awarded 43 agents with the Milton M. Hill Quality Award. One of the industry's most distinguished performance awards, it was established in honor of the late Milton M. Hill of Alexander's Mobility Services, previously known as Alexander's Moving & Storage, an agent of Atlas Van Lines.

The agents who earned the award demonstrated a commitment to superior warehouse and hauling operations, as well as to excellence in 12 quality criteria. The award acknowledges agents who demonstrate excellence in the following areas:

1. Superior warehouse rating — Recipients must earn high scores in random inspections that measure impression, organization, security and risk management.

2. Hauling excellence — Agents qualify for this award based on customer service with their van operator and meeting hauling revenue requirements.

3. World-class commitment — A measure of excellence in performance rankings covering 12 established quality criteria, including customer service, customer satisfaction, estimating accuracy, claims ratio and compliance with Atlas standards of excellence.

"Milt Hill set the quality bar at a level that has raised industry standards across the board for many years," said Jim Stamm, vice chairman, president and COO of Atlas World Group. "It's a great honor to be put in the same category. The Milt Hill Award acknowledges that each of these agents embodies integrity, quality and service excellence. Although all Atlas agents uphold these standards, these award winners continue to exceed them, and help Atlas and the entire relocation industry raise the bar on customer service."
