Atlas World Group names Stamm vice chairman

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Atlas World Group has named Jim Stamm, its current president and chief operating officer, to the position of vice chairman.

A native of Fort Wayne, Ind., who served in the Vietnam War with the U.S. Marine Corps, Stamm has an extensive background in the relocation of household, high-value and commercial goods.

Stamm joined the company in 1987 as president of Atlas Van Lines' Specialized Transportation Group. He was named president and COO of Atlas Van Lines in 1999 and of Atlas World Group in 2004.
