EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Atlas Van Lines announced award winners for the Milton M. Hill Quality Award, World Class Commitment Award, Hauling Excellence Award and the Sales Achievement Award among others at the 58th annual Atlas Convention, held Nov. 16-20 in Hollywood, Fla. The awards pay tribute to the overall performance of Atlas agents and specifically to their customer service and sales achievements.

Forty-six agents earned one of the industry's most distinguished performance awards, the Milton M. Hill Quality Award. These agents demonstrated a commitment to superior warehouse and hauling operations, as well as to excellence in 12 established quality criteria such as customer service, estimating accuracy, claims ratio and compliance with Atlas standards of excellence.

"It's the commitment of these award winners that raise the bar - not only for Atlas, but also for the entire industry," said Jim Stamm, Atlas President and COO. "All of this year's award winners regularly go above and beyond what's required to do their jobs well and to make Atlas a leader in the relocation business."

Also established in honor of the late Milton M. Hill of Alexander's Moving & Storage, an agent of Atlas Van Lines, is the World-Class Commitment Award. Each of the 30 recipients was recognized for their success in maintaining high quality standards and attaining high scores in performance rankings.

In addition, 69 agents received the Hauling Excellence Award recognizing customer satisfaction and excellence in operations. Agents that hauled household goods shipments totaling at least $750,000 were eligible for the award. Recipients maintained a high Operations Excellence rating and a 90 percent positive response from customers when asked if they would use the agency's service again.

Atlas agents that attained significant sales revenue were also awarded at the convention. 91 agents received the Sales Achievement Award, given to Atlas agents who reach sales in excess of $1 million.
