EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Atlas Van Lines is the recipient of one of the transportation and logistics industry's top honors, earning national recognition in the 21st annual Quest for Quality award from Logistics Management. The award is the industry's most comprehensive and impartial ranking of performance.

The magazine and Reed Research Group surveyed nearly 2500 qualified buyers of transportation, warehousing, and van line services across the country, asking for a ranking of household goods and high value goods carriers in five key areas: on-time performance, value, information technology, customer service, and equipment and operations. Atlas received above average marks in all five categories, earning the company the prestigious award for the seventh consecutive year.

"These rankings reflect the strong overall performance of our agents and their dedication to excellence," said Jim Stamm, Atlas president and COO. "Our top focus is customer service whether we're relocating a family or moving specialized goods across the country. We are pleased that the very people who trust us with their belongings have again let us know about it in this fashion," Stamm added.

Logistics Management placed Atlas in the "Truckload: Household Goods & High Value Goods Carriers" category. This was the first time the survey combined household goods and high value goods carriers in the same category.
