EVANSVILLE — Atlas World Group named three veteran transportation industry professionals to lead the carrier's recruiting and accounting divisions. Two newly appointed directors of agency recruitment will scout locations across the country for dynamic sales talent, while the newly named controller of customer claims will manage the company's internal accounting practices.
Suzan North of Evansville was named director of agency recruitment. She is responsible for recruiting and training new agents in the central region of the U.S.
An Atlas employee since 1999, North previously worked as a controller in the customer service department before assuming her current role.
North is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. She earned her MBA from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville. She is married to Robert North.
In her spare time, North belongs to several professional societies and participates in many civic organizations throughout Evansville.
Kyle Puckett, 44, of Houston, Texas, was named director of agency recruitment. Puckett oversees the process of recruiting service-oriented sales agents to the Atlas workforce.
Prior to joining Atlas, Puckett amassed more than 25 years experience in the transportation industry. He previously worked as an operations manager in Houston.
A native of Pontiac, Mich., Puckett is a graduate of Central Michigan University. He and his wife Darcy have two children — Rachel Kathryn and William.
Jason J. Kempf, 31, of Haubstadt, Ind., was named controller of customer services. Kempf is responsible for analyzing claims, preparing budgets and monthly reports, as well as improving efficiency in the customer services department at Atlas.
Prior to working at Atlas, Kempf was an assistant controller and regional accounting manager in the transportation industry for six years.
Kempf is a native of Evansville and a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana.
