Glen Dunkerson, Atlas Van Lines Named Senior Vice President

EVANSVILLE, (Ind.) - Glen Dunkerson of Atlas Van Lines has been promoted to the position of senior vice president, Transportation, for the company's Specialized Transportation Group (STG), headquartered in Evansville, Ind.

Dunkerson has 23 years of experience at Atlas Van Lines. Since joining the company in 1978, he has served as assistant vice president of Household Goods Operations and as vice president, Claims Administration. Most recently Dunkerson held the position of vice president, Operations, STG.

A native of Indiana, Dunkerson spent his early years in Sebree, Ky. and has also worked in Washington D.C. and Mayfield, Kentucky. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Strategic Quality Management Program and is a past president of the Claims Prevention and Procedure Council, Inc.

Atlas Van Lines' Specialized Transportation Group provides transportation of tradeshow exhibits, electronics, new store fixtures and furniture and other high-value goods such as museum exhibits and fine arts.
