Atlas Van Lines Appoints I. Ray West Information Technology Vice President

(Evansville, IN) - Atlas Van Lines recently announced the appointment of I. Ray West to the position of vice president, information technology (IT) development. West will lead IT development, including the expansion of the use of external sources for software packages and development resources, at Atlas corporate headquarters in Evansville.

West brings to Atlas 20 years' experience in the field of information technology, including his role as owner and consultant for The Computer Applications Co. in Brandenburg, KY, and as president of Thoroughbred Systems, Inc. in Clarksville, IN. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville, where he earned a bachelor's degree, and the GMI Engineering and Management Institute in Flint, MI, where he earned a master's degree in manufacturing management.

A native of Seymour, IN, West served in the United States Marine Corps for 13 years, and was involved in the Toys for Tots program.
