EVANSVILLE, (Ind.) - Atlas Van Lines veteran Larry Huff has accepted the position of director, agency recruitment, for American Red Ball Transit Co., a subsidiary of Atlas World Group. Huff recently retired from his role as vice president and general manager of Atlas Van Lines of Texas.
Huff began with Atlas in Evansville as a registration clerk in 1964. He held several positions in the company before retiring from Atlas Van Lines of Texas, located in Austin. In his new position, Huff will recruit new American Red Ball agents.
A native of Evansville, Huff is a member of the board of directors of the Southwest Mover's Association and served seven years as a board member for the Texas Motor Transportation Association.
Founded in 1919, American Red Ball Transit Co. is the oldest interstate moving company in the nation and is a global household goods forwarder based in Indianapolis. Atlas World Group is the holding company for American Red Ball Transit, Atlas Van Lines, and other Atlas subsidiaries.
