Atlas Van Lines Names Director of Quality

EVANSVILLE, (Ind.) - Atlas Van Lines recently promoted Dave Daniels to Director of Quality Development. Working out of Atlas' Evansville headquarters, Daniels will be involved in developing and implementing quality and risk control strategies for the Atlas Van Lines corporation and for its agents nation-wide. The company's quality goals will position Atlas to pursue ISO 9000 certification in coming years. Daniels also will work with the Atlas Quality Focus Group on agency programs such as driver training and recruitment.

A native of Chicago, Daniels formerly worked in the area of claims and consumer services. He joined Atlas Van Lines as a risk control specialist in 1997 and brings to his new position a total of 21 years in the van line industry.

Daniels is a graduate of Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Ill., where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in English. He resides in Newburgh with his wife, Debbie, and two children.
