How to manage your international move [Video]

Dec 08, 2015

Moving overseas can be nerve-racking, but the important thing is to stay organized. To accomplish this, create a moving file. Keep important documents and receipts related to your move inside this folder and in your carry-on bag. This way, it won't accidentally get lost in the chaos of your relocation.

You should also do some research on the international moving company you hire. Choose one that is well-known and has all of the proper licenses so you know the business is reliable.

Items get lost or broken during a local move, let alone an international relocation. Protect your belongings by having a valuation done and keeping an inventory of everything you own. If you follow these three tips, your international move will be a lot less stressful.
