DMS Moving Systems
was honored for its outstanding performance at Cartus Corporation’s 2014 Global Network Conference held October 6-8 in Chicago, Ill. Cartus Global Network is Cartus’ industry-leading worldwide service provider network. Each year, Cartus recognizes the companies and individuals in the Network who have provided extraordinary service to its customers and clients worldwide.

DMS Moving Systems was named winner of the Cartus Masters Cup Award for move-related services. Presented to the top Global Network member each year, the Cartus Masters Cup recognizes the winner’s commitment to Cartus’ vision, values and, specifically, its mission statement: “We come to work every day to help our customers and clients succeed.”

“Our Global Network members perform to the highest levels for our clients. They will stop at nothing to provide the ultimate in dedication and performance, and DMS Moving Systems exemplifies these standards,” said Mike Brannan, senior vice president, Global Supply Chain Management. “Despite the highest levels of competition, DMS’ performance went above and beyond, and I’m therefore proud to present to them the Cartus Masters Cup Award for 2014.”

“An invitation to join Cartus’ Global Network is an honor in the relocation industry because the Network’s criteria and performance standards are so rigorous,” said Rick Myer, president of DMS Moving Systems. “We fully endorse Cartus’ dedication to providing high-quality service and are grateful to have received this prestigious designation, which further enhances our commitment to providing world-class service.”

DMS Moving Systems has been an Atlas Van Lines agent for more than 30 years and is headquartered in Canton, Mich. with another location in Birmingham, Ala. The company is one of the industry leaders in using state-of-the-art applications for processing customer information, including the use of handheld devices to facilitate surveys and inventory.

With an initiative that assists in making the moving and storage industry safer, DMS Moving Systems requires a photo ID for all van operators and crew members.  Customers can be assured that the crew who handles their move has passed a background check and screening process. This program gives customers piece of mind knowing that the people entering their home are professional, trustworthy and honest. In addition to these initiatives, DMS is an AMSA member with the ProMover credential and RIM certification, and the company’s ISO-9001 certification demonstrates its commitment to quality control.
